BCI Certifications - BPO Service Delivery Quality (BSDQ-22)

BSDQ-22
BSDQ-22® is by far, the most complex and advanced Service Delivery Quality Standard for a BPO Organization available anywhere in the world. Based on the BCI Service Delivery Master Standards credentialed by the BPO Enterprise Certification Council (BECC), BSDQ-22® is awarded to organizations that have successfully implemented all 22 of the Service Delivery Quality drivers (SDQ drivers) enunciated in SDMS Release 1.2, and are proven compliant during the BSDQ® Final Audit.

As such, BSDQ-22® offers a number of business and efficiency benefits to certified organizations. Some important ones are:

1. Getting Globally Benchmarked: Assurance that the organization is functioning on global standards because BSDQ-22® certification is awarded after stringent audits on SDMS Release 1.2 compliance.

2. Inspires Current Clients: Assures current clients about the BPO's tested capabilities of handling large business volumes and inspires them to increase business volumes. All BSD pre-certification activities in a country or a geographical zone are handled by BCI's Service Standards Audit Group (SSAG) or Authorized BSDQ® Implementation and Audit Partner (BIAP) in that area. The basic steps are:

Step 1:  Organization-wide baseline study - BSDQ® Status Audit (BSA) to compile the current state of practices, systems, and processes etc. in accordance to SDMS Guidelines.

Step 2: Gap analysis by BAP and Gap Report submission to the SO for improvement action and implementation (including the BSDQ® Gap Modulus – the measure of deviation from SDMS).

Step 3: Systems restructuring etc. to bring them in line with SDMS requirements.

Step 4:  BSDQ-22® Final Audit for Compliance Check and Certification Decision.
