BCI Membership Categories
BCI’s prestigious memberships are open for individual
as well as organizations associated with the BPO Industry.
The following are the categories in which you can seek to
become a BCI member:
Individual Memberships
Chartered Memberships:
These are among the most prestigious memberships in the
global BPO industry. BCI Chartered memberships are awarded
to those BCI Certified individual professionals who have
achieved distinction in their careers. BCI Chartered members
get high visibility in the global BPO community as they
are offered opportunities to speak, write and partake in
various BCI initiatives designed to contribute to professional
development in the global BPO industry. In addition, as
mentioned earlier, Chartered Member benefit from the vibrant
and rapidly evolving body of BPO knowledge and experiences
that BCI has to offer.
Associate Memberships:
These are open for individual BPO professionals, who are
currently enrolled in a particular BCI Certification program
or have achieved a BCI Certification anytime in the last
three calendar years (from the time of applying for membership).
Every year, a select number of BCI Associate Members receive
an invitation to upgrade into a Chartered Member after three
years of demonstrated contribution to the BPO Industry.
They also, as mentioned earlier, benefit from the vibrant
and rapidly evolving body of BPO knowledge and experiences
that BCI has to offer. In addition, BCI CTPs organize special
Training Programs for those Associate Members, who desire
to upgrade to a higher Certification and fulfill all prescribed
conditions for the same.
Organizational Memberships
Institutional Memberships:
The Institutional Membership category was created by BCI after
receiving a number of requests and suggestions from educational
institutions, who create BPO knowledge as well as train and
develop talents for the global BPO industry. Universities,
colleges, Special Purpose Education Promotion bodies, and
even Education NGOs across the world have welcomed the emergence
of this new BCI platform, which they feel not only gives them
an opportunity to showcase and share knowledge they develop,
but also enables them train better professionals for the global
BPO industry. All education institutions with a history of
five years or more of catering to the knowledge and talent
requirements of the BPO industry are technically eligible
for applying for the BCI Institutional Membership. Needless
to say, leading BPO are looking for approved BPO Talent trainers
and knowledge producers and the BCI Institutional Membership
serves to bring all member institutions closer to such opportunities.
Corporate Memberships:
BCI has opened this category for all organizations that actively
participate in the global BPO industry value chain. This category
includes companies that are currently outsourcing or are contemplating
to outsource; companies that offer outsourcing services like
BPOs, KPOs, Contact Centers, Training Outfits, Consulting
Firms, and, also, BPO Technology Suppliers. BCI Corporate
membership provides invaluable access to BCI’s ongoing
research, training, certification, and networking activities
- all designed to help member companies achieve consistently
better business performances & results through mutual
synergies, exchanges and global learnings. It must be mentioned
here that many BCI Corporate Membership applicants also see
a possibility of the BCI platform assisting them in marketing
and business development activities.
