Jacalyn Macy
Executive Vice Chairperson & President, US Operations
 |
Jacalyn’s career spans all of 30 years and
reads more like a travelogue on outsourcing and
ecommerce – a seamless array of exciting achievements
and contributions in leadership roles that cut across
functions and geographies and set new industry standards.
Her expertise in ecommerce is reflected in the
fact that she has consulted the world’s top
trading organizations, including BXI Exchange, ITEX,
BarterCard, eValues, Teletrade and BEI on ecommerce
strategy, technology and architecture, program roll-outs
and business modeling. Similarly, her stints as
Director of International Reciprocity for the IRTA’s
international currency clearinghouse and President
of eValues.net became memorable for the way Jacalyn
strengthened bottom lines and re-engineered costs
in a short time.

Jacalyn’s experiences in Outsourcing – which
began in early eighties as an Associate with the mailorder
major Heirloom Enterprises – peaked when she became
the President of Teletrade.
She also pioneered the Strategic Alliance and Affinity Program
sectors and advised clients like the American Stock Exchange,
Mt. Sinai Hospital and CTS. Her team’s revolutionary
work on merchant account processes broke new grounds for
Merchants’ access to credit-card service offerers
like Bankcard Services International, Inc., Nova Information
Systems, Trans Union, GenPass, Master- Card’s debit
card network, InterceptEFT and Maestro Network.
Trained at MIT and Wharton, Jacqui has also been a key member
of the Harvard Alumni Funding Committee for some years.
She was also a board member of Genesis International, Soliel
Rouge, eValues.net, Teletrade International and The Remington
Group (TRG).
Before she joined BCI, in late 2004, as Principal Consultant
(Outsourcing Practice) of TRG, Jacalyn
visited India for researching and understanding the dynamics
of vendor-side outsourcing and how it plays out in the Indian
BPO industry. Jacalyn has been an avid writer and has contributed
to journals, magazines and books like Trump Shuttle
Guide, Pan Am Shuttle Guide, Community, and
We Are Smarter Than Me.
After the BCI-TRG merger in early 2008, Jacalyn became President
and was recently elevated to the position of Vice-Chairperson.
She is now traveling extensively around the world to promote
BCI’s Global Talent Pool Development Program for BPO
Industry.
BCI Leadership Structure
Constructed strategically to drive, empower and guide BCI
toward exemplary corporate governance and ethical leadership,
the BCI Leadership packs in it a powerful combination of transnational
BPO experience and expertise – both, on the client and
vendor-side – and top business, operations and leadership
achievements across the entire spectrum of the BPO space.
Morphologically, the BCI Global Management Board consists
of three different bodies – The Board of Advisors,
the Board of Executives, and the Ombudsmen.
