The New ICOS™ Program*

Establishing an ICOS™ - International Center for Outsourcing Studies – is an ideal way to begin a relationship/ partnership with BCI for higher-learning institutions. The prestigious and internationally respected BCI certifications are made available to students of ICOS™ host-institutions with several extra benefits. Equally importantly, the institutions also get active assistance from BCI in introducing BPM and outsourcing as majors, electives and specialization courses in their academic programs.

ICOS™ brings on a high-level partnership between BCI and host institutions, and extends unrivalled advantages of quick, easy access to state-of-the-art knowledge and global networks for partners, in addition to promising a massive boost to the brand image of the partner institution, and opportunities of globalizing its visibility.

BCI actively helps universities establish and start their ICOS™ within 45 to 60 days – with complete systems, content, process and technical know-how. Needless to say, universities with ICOS™ have emerged as the most preferred BPO/ ICT workforce training and development partners of their governments and the World Bank in the last five years, and the trend is growing as more and more ICOS™ partnerships establish across developing and underdeveloped nations – across whole of Africa and in Central and Latin Americas. Besides strengthening offerings in business process and business services management, the 2019 ICOS program for universities now covers more advanced arenas in which outsourcing has expanded - technology, knowledge, design, marketing and engineering.

By establishing ICOS™, a university gets the opportunity to conveniently, affordably and rapidly add industry-focused Outsourcing as an expertise discipline to its existing portfolio, facilitating improved relations with the local industry. Indeed, being an excellence center, an ICOS™ also becomes an automatic choice for governments, multilateral bodies, industry chambers and other stakeholders for large-scale workforce development projects or research or consulting projects.

Notably, as has been proven across 80+ countries where BCI certifications have helped build thousands of careers across industries, since outsourcing links up with almost every industry-vertical or economy sector we can imagine. ICOS™ actively assists the host university build and enhance employability of average students for most emerging sectors of the economy.

The biggest utility of ICOS™ for a university, however, lies in the fact that ICOS™ certification and programs are extremely useful even for students from humanities, liberal arts and social science backgrounds and majors, and they can prepare themselves for great careers in BPM companies, hotels, large retailers, airline companies, datacenters, accounting backoffices, private hospitals, tourism companies etc.,

*The old ICOSS™ program stands discontinued with effect from October 2018. The new ICOS™ program, hence does not include software studies programs, and focuses entirely on outsourcing. All universities who had applied for ICOSS™ have been individually communicated about this change, and their applications are being considered for the new ICOS™ program. Applicant universities who have not received a formal communication about this, or those intending to withdraw their applications for ICOS™ may please write to partner@credforce.com (with ICOS mentioned in the email subject line) for necessary action. To all valued stakeholders, who have been inconvenienced because of this change, or because of delayed reflection of this change on this website, we offer our sincere apologies.
