Certification Training Process
All BCI Certification Programs require participants to undergo 20 -36 hours of instructor-led compulsory Expert Certification Class (ECC) before becoming eligible to take the Certification Examination. The ECC are conducted by a network of accomplished independent training organizations accorded the status of Approved Certification Training Providers (CTP) by BCI. The BCI CTP network is spread out globally and is under constant expansion. To know more about the BCI-CTP program, click here.
It should be clearly noted that BCI is only a competency certification body and has no training arm of its own. This has been done to keep BCI completely inured and independent of vested commercial interests that may otherwise arise because of an activity like training. Pre-certification training for all BCI programs are therefore - as said above - conducted by BCI approved CTPs. All CTP programs are pre-approved by BCI on stringent quality assurance norms, and BCI shares with them its state-of-the-art material, intellectual and process inputs required to prepare participants for the BCI Certification Examination.
As can be expected, achieving a BCI CTP status is an accomplishment in itself for a training company. The CTP status is accorded/ granted to an organization for a limited period of three years after a thorough and rigorous audit of its intellectual and organizational infrastructure, training delivery capabilities and experiences as well as records of quality assurance and ethical training governance. Renewal of the CTP status is not automatic and is fraught with rigorous audits of trainee feedbacks, certification results, delivery complaints and records related to training management.
